THANK YOU all so much! It worked, I got the Dish Home Protection Plan, waiting a few days, called about the dead vip722 and they sent me a refurb unit. All your help is much appreciated.
Silly question...the new receiver looks physically identical but for some reason the colors look washed out to me. On the old one the guide was more blue, the shows had richer colors etc. I'm using the same TV, amp, hdmi cable etc. Anybody have any experience with different receivers pushing out different quality/richness color-wise?
