Vip722 and vip722k dish remote not working omn samsung tv due to rf signal to strong

If you have this problem you can solve it buy putting a piece of electrical tape on the center RF eye of the 722 box. On the 722k box you have to experimnet with the length of tape to cover the center of the FR bar on the dish box. Can't believe dish hasn't figured this out.

Gotta realize, you're talking about a single TV type. Dish is generally not going to get into details about what cures and ails certain TV models. That said, I know some of the flat screen TVs (think it's Vizio) have backlighting, and that has been known to cause IR interference.

Or you get yourself a 21 uhf remote and program.it to RF mode....walla promlem resolved.

It's not RF (radio frequency), it's IR (infrared).
