The VIP622 will be available via retailers on FEB 1. Some retailers are taking orders as soon as next week. The Vip622 will be the first dish DVR reciever with MPEG4 capability.

I mean, how does this MSRP compare to the other HD DVRs. Can DHA customers expect the $250 upgrade fee to remain, or will it be less?
