vip622 Changing hd recording quality

I'm new, so hello all. I've looked through the manual and done everything I can possibly think of to change the quality of the HD program being recorded. Am I missing this or is there an option?

No, you can't change the quality, the 622 records the stream exactly as it is received from the satellite. Or over the air if it's an signal from one of your OTA stations.

That's a standalone Tivo function because it cannot record a direct digital stream. It's not needed on your 622.
