VIP222k receivers on Welcome Pack

If we own VIP222k receiver with the Welcome Package (without the HD dish), can we still get our local stations on HD?

Unfortunately no. HD locals are on 61.5 or 129, DISH 500 only pulls in 110/119.

Would need a wing dish tied into that other dish if it has a DPP twin on it

If you have the OTA module for the 222K you can connect a TV antenna and get your local HD and subchannels.

If you have the correct dish (one that does 110/119/129 or 61.5/72/77 depending on your market) you can receive your locals in HD. Also if you have an OTA antenna and stations in range (with the module) you can get your locals.
