VIP222k channel changing issue

I have 2 VIP222k's I'll refer to them as A and B. A is working fine. The last few days B has started having problems changing channels. When I try and change channels the screen will go blank for 10-20 seconds then sometimes the new channel will appear and other times it will go back to the channel I had just been watching. Also, when I press the numbers on the remote they do not always show at the top of the screen. It is receiving the remote signal because after a few seconds the screen goes blank and it tries to change the channel. Sometimes the numbers show as I press them and other times they don't.

A and B are both fed from the same dish so I don't think the dish has been bumped out of alignment or anything. I am afraid B is just dying.

Tried soft reset (red button on front panel 5-10 seconds?)

Tried unplugging the receiver for 15 seconds?

The soft reset seems to have worked. I had tried pushing the reset button before but I didn't hold it in for the full 5-10 seconds.
