VIP211k remote

I have a spare UHF remote from my 222k, will it work on a 211k?

It will work in IR mode but not UHF... If the remote has a #2 on it remove the tab and flip it to the #1 side.

Also, depending on the model of the remote, there may be a switch beneath the battery cover that says UHF and IR. Just flip that to IR if it is there.

I planned on using the vip211k in the camper and hook up the bedroom tv with the camper coax and be able to change channels on the receiver in the living area. No can do I guess.

I think I can say this more simply, I want to use two tv's on one 211 and be able to control it from the second location.

You will need some type of IR sender the 211 doesn't have UHF capabilities.
