But that’s not a DVR fee, it’s an equipment fee.Add in $7 for each Joey and the fees climb quickly.

But the posts are not about you, they are about trojan67’s post that said the DVR fees are killing him...A fee is a fee. My pocketbook doesn't care what it's called

That is one the big complaints with cable/satellite. All of the fees, even for owned receivers. Comcast now at $24 for a receiver fee? That is crazy.
The pause button?? Never seen that one before. As for the Hopper 1, it wasn't always only installed for bad credit. They started that a few years ago - about the time the Hop[per 3 came outWe had the Hopper 1, and it would just shut off. After months of complaining I had the same tech come back, replacing the old cable/wiring, and then installing with new cable/wiring and then installed with the Hopper 3. I had no idea, that the Hopper 1 was installed for bad credit, and the Hopper 1 crawled at a snails pace. I usually never complain, but it was slow. I have even noticed, that the Hopper 3 pause button is disabled with each updates. I am not sure if that happens to others with the Hopper 3.
