VIP 722 to Bell

Hi Guys. New here and this is my first post. Thanks for having me. I have a question with regards to the Dish VIP 722. Can model be converted to work with Bell? Thanks!

No, only Bell receivers will work with Bell.

If it is leased, Dish will want it back shortly after you cancel your account. Not sure if you own the receiver, you should contact Bell Vu for your answer.

Bell receivers have their own special software and R&S # anyways

Also as of a few years ago they (DIsh and Bell) "locked" their receivers so you can't accidentally load the others software

Yup. This fact bit me awhile back when I bought a Bell 4100 thinking it would magically convert itself to a 111 with extra outputs once I put it onto my Dish dish. Never happened.
