hook antenna to 722 and scan for locals, then just select what you want to record from the guide. The machine does the rest.

For example, make sure the 722 is in single mode, then to record 3 shows that are on right now, press Guide button, scroll up and down and select a show on satellite (any blue title), press Record button. Now select a second show on satellite (any blue title), press Record. Then select any show on antenna (yellow title), press Record.

It doesn't have to be in single mode, it will do it in dual mode also as long as record plus is enabled.

okay, I was just trying to make sure my simple example would work without any complications. And I forgot the last step: press the DVR button twice and witness the 3 red balls for the 3 recording shows simultaneously.
