Recently I've had to run my 722 audio to the receiver using the analog connections (red and white cables). Since doing so I've noticed I am only getting sound from my left front speaker, if I go back to optical I once again get surround sound. Is there something wrong with my box or any special settings I need to set in the 722 for the analog connections pass audio properly to my receiver.

I would use optical but I only have 2 optical inputs on my receiver and currently I have my ps3 and hd dvd player on those. So any input (play on words) would be very helpful lol.

Sounds like a loose connection or bad cable. You really have to push in hard on some RCA connectors. It's happened to me on more than one occasion.
