Hello friends! New guy here. I have some experience installing and pointing and such but this problem baffles me. I have a TurboHD branded dish 1000 satellite with the three dishpro LNBs. As I pointed and peaked outside directly connected to the dish all worked well. When i moved my VIP 622 receiver inside, I couldn't get a signal. I checked my connections outside and determined that it maybe the "splitter" being used to direct data throughout my home. I assumed I needed a DC pass through style splitter to do it, so I left my tv/receiver on and went to my local satellite supply store. I cam back and the receiver is off and won't turn back on. What gives? Did I damage it?

By your post, I am assuming that this is a 1000 dish with three dual lnbs? Not one integrated LNB? If it has bracket on the front of the dish that looks like a "W", then you have a 1000 dish and need to run three lines off the dish into a switch. If you use a 34 switch, you need two lines to the 622, a 44 switch with a power inserter on port one would only require one line to the receiver and a seperator at the receiver. If you have a 1000.2 dish w/ the integrated LNB, (three round eyes on one LNB), then one line to the 622 with seperator at receiver. Check switch after install. Watch TV!
