vip 612 hook-up with 2 dish 500s located port huron, mi

just need so help...currently have old 310 reciever and one dish 500 (110/119)..live in port huron, michigan. Just got a vip 612 and a second dish 500(wing dish)...do i use the 61.5 or 129? any help would be great.

Shoot the 129 for all the high def stations.
What locals do you get?

i agree. go with the 129 your hd locals should be on both. i feel 129 is better.
or better yet a 1000.2 would be best, that way you only have one dish.
and all your hd.

so go with the 129...my locals are detroit..how hard is it to find the 129? should i get a sat finder?

24ish in elevation to the right of where your dish is pointed now.
Signal levels will be mid 50's to mid 60's.

Some people find that the 129 is hard to find due to foliage (trees, bushes). Another option would be the 61.5 which is at 154 azimuth with and elevation around 38. The signal levels are a little lower overall then the 129 but are less of an issue when it comes to possible obstructions.
