I had a 222 installed on 12-14-07 and have had many problems with it freezing up. Dish has been back to my home twice since the 14th and I still have the problem. I have to reboot the receiver 6 to 8 times a week.
Should I ask Dish to replace the 222 receiver? Is anyone else having this problem?

I noticed my 222 was getting very hot and it lockup up a few times, so I put a fan on it. That was about 2 months ago and it has not locked up since.

They are terrible. I had a customer in Durham who I had replaced her 222 3 times in 2 weeks before I told her flat out to call Dish and insist on either a 211 or a 722. She got them to build the work order and I replaced her with a 211 the same day.
