Thats a problem i just started having with this new release too i usually have to keep hitting cancel to get out of the error screen.
Had a couple of issues since the release of the new software:
1. Had audio-no picture. My wife called me at work and I tried to talk her through doing a re-boot, but this didn't work. She called back a couple of hours later and said she was going shopping because she couldn't watch TV. Had her turn it back on and it was working again. :up
2. Last night I noticed that I was having picture freeze/break-up on one of the HBO SD channels. Never had this before.
Me thinks that this new software release caused more problems than it fixed. Even though my symptoms may be totally unrelated to the S/W, got to blame it on something.
