I can't tell you from memory with certainty, I have an Ultra but havent' used it since Christmas when I bought an Icon. Yours should be similar to the Ultra's menus I think. You should be able to download the manual for your box off the viewsatusa website-if its not there any more, d/l the Ultra's manual and read it. It'll explain how to add a satellite, or rename one. It IS somewhat hidden on the Ultra, I think its under Installation, then Right-arrow to the 2nd option on right column. I believe that says Transponder Scan, but pick it anyway.
Then scroll down to bottom of screen and see if there's not several options to pick from, one is Add/Rename Sat. Hit Ok and you should be ready to go. If you got a motor involved you'll have to go into the motor setup and add the orbital location for AMC9 also. I never used the one I had with a H-H motor so I got no clue on how to do that, but I'm sure its covered in the manual. Mostly, you just need to get familiar with the menus by exploring.

This flash is for the Extreme only! It appeared shortly after Echostar won a decision against Viewtech for Viewtech to report owner id info to Echostar on returned/warranty units that had flash memory containing proprietary (decryption) DN data. It was not officially scanctioned by Viewtech, but presumably unofficially commisioned as a CYA effort. You will need to do a factory default after you boot to this FW to complete the task. Standard UAYOR disclaimer applies.

Mike this cleaner flash wont work for your STB. I dont know anything about the CaptiveWorks products. Possibly the sat config data below will work for you to erradicate DN polution on your unit, if it is supported by Channelmaster.
Are you loading the latest (factory) FW from the CW hompage or latest aftermarket FW? The latter is (was) designed specifically to steal DN programming. Your fix may be as simple as deleteing the Echostar sats and doing a factory reset ( or whatever CW calls it)

Using Channelmaster, one can port (export) this .ndf to any STB format supported by Channelmaster. It is a somewhat dated, rough template, by no means complete or cleaned up/polished, but it has something programmed in on most birds to aide in finding proper alignment/polarity settings for the arc. There are no HD or Satmex/Anik TPs listed in this db. Same standard UAYOR disclaimer applies.

Feel free to add/delete/modify and repost as anyone sees fit for the board. If re-constituted, I recommend staying in .ndf format as this is one of the formats natively supported by Channelmaster.
