videotron cable and series 2 tivo

okay im here in south montreal and im trying to hookup a series 2 tivo to a videotron cable box but the tivo remote wont change the channels

its a digital cable box made by pace dc511p as thats what it says on the front of the cable box

so does anybody in the montreal area have videotron cable and a tivo hooked up?

it has to work but i dont know how as it works with starchoice and bell expressvu

any ideas please help

problem solved have 3 cable boxes here 2 pace dc511p and 1 scientific atlanta explorer 2000

the pace boxes flatout dont function with tivo after spending hours reading on net last night

so i switched the pace box with the scientific atlanta box in the room that the tivo is in and now the tivo has full functionality with scientific atlanta, thankfully we only have 1 tivo up here
