video/audio out of sync

I was watching TV tonight and found the video and audio to be WAY out of sync. I have a StarChoice DSR 500 and a Samsung DLP HLR5067W contacted with component cables.

Any ideas?

Also, my home theatre system is WAY off as well, it is like watching a dubbed movie.

Any ideas?

I can't say if this will help you but when certain Dish headend receivers lose audio video timing- a hard boot- pull out the AC plug for 20 seconds would often get the sound and video back in sync.

That's the Motorola fix as well - the hard reboot. Motorola suggests leaving the plug out for a minute.
