UPDATE: the atlanta constitution is reporting at its website that vick's lawyers are arguing in court right now to negotiate a plea agreement. this is according to espn.com
The other two defendants are filing plea agreements this week. Sure looks like Vick will be left holding the bag.
Lets all just hope he gets at least a year in jail and fines up the whazoo. Oh ya, ban from the NFL. Its gotta be pretty bad for him to even consider a plea.
i really don't think he even considered his friends would turn against him. he really has no alternative but to plead guilty and hope the judge doesn't throw the book at him. espn.com is also reporting the feds are considering bringing vick up on other more serious charges of racketeering under the RICO act. if convicted, he would spend the rest of his life in jail.....no ands, ifs, or buts.
This is playing out as I expected it would. Thank god for the feds or he would never have been brought to trial as local law enforcement wouldnt even serve a warrant to search. This is typical for this area. When Iverson was in High school he went to jail (our City Farm facility for youth and non violent) here for a bowling alley brawl in my neighborhood. He and his thugs beat people with chairs in the bowling alley. He was however released early so he could be drafted by the NBA.

Yep, two more of Vick's buddies copped a deal. It looks like the Feds are seeking poetic justice by going for the jugular.
Yep, just like I can believe that some idiot white kids defaced the entrance to our neighborhood with "white power" graffiti a couple of weeks ago. Stupidity comes in all races. By the way, you might want to get your facts straight about the Iverson case too. While I agree that Iverson is an idiot, he wasn't released to go to the NBA. He had to finish high school, and then he went to Georgetown for a couple of years. An appeals court later overturned the conviction for insufficient evidence.
If Vick is guilty, the Feds should put him in the pen. Just make sure it's 6' by 6' and occupied by a pit bull or two. Eye for an eye....
yes he was released early to go to College B-Ball. An appeals court overturned it? HUH???
I guess all those witnesses in the bowling alley getting beat with chairs needed their eyes checked.?
And FYI if it were not for the Black governor Wilder that granted him clemency he would have served his entire sentence as he should have. The courts pronounced him guilty. It was his black buddy that let him go. Iverson served just 5 months of a 15 year sentence!!!!

Apparently iWilder felt that its ok for a black sports star from Newport News to beat up white boys from Poquoson VA. Of course Iverson chose to beat a white woman over the head with one. As far as the appeal went that was WIlder and 60 minutes doing. The judge was racially biased.

I guess some wacko is now suing Vick for $63,000,000,000 because he bought those dogs from him cause Vick is secretly trying to buy weapons from Iran and join Al-Qaeda. Hilarious!
