MSNBC HD Now Available for All FiOS TV Customers

Verizon announced Thursday (Feb. 11) that the company has added MSNBC HD to its FiOS TV lineup. Available on channel 603, MSNBC HD is now airing in all FiOS TV markets.

"Delivering the content our customers want in high definition has always been a priority for Verizon, and making MSNBC HD available this month is no exception," said Terry Denson, vice president of content strategy and acquisition for Verizon. "Our subscribers can now enjoy MSNBC's thought-provoking news and commentary – all with the high-def experience that FiOS TV can deliver."

Phil Griffin, president of MSNBC, said, "Launching MSNBC HD on FiOS TV could not come at a better time. MSNBC has established itself as 'The Place for Politics,' achieving historic ratings success."

MSNBC HD joins FiOS TV's broad collection of programming, with more than 560 all-digital channels including up to 138 HD channels and about 18,000 monthly video-on-demand titles. FiOS provides next-generation interactive services including an advanced interactive media guide; social TV, news and entertainment widgets; remote DVR management; multi-room DVR; and more.
