If everyone's ok with it and I find a wi-fi spot on the beach, maybe I can share a few pics from our voyage to the Dirty South right here on this thread.

The wife and I are doing this Triple-D style, trying to visit as many Diners, Drive-In's and Dives as possible on the way down. We'll be stopping in Maryland for Crabcakes, VA for whatever it is they eat and North Carolina for some fresh shell fish and some NC style BBQ.

BTW, since this is a thread about members vacationing, I just want to let you know that I'll be going on a vacation myself in July.

On July 15th, my family and I are going on a week-long vacation to Disney World. We leave the day after the MLB All-Star Game.

How cool is this- Home Run Derby on Monday the 13th, the All-Star Game on the 14th, and I go on a cruise!

I dunno about McCoy, but I'm stopping in Fredrick tomorrow for lunch (May's Restaurant). It was voted "best seafood restaurant" in 2006, 2007, 2008.

I'm still taking recommendations for eateries in the Richmond/Willamsburg, VA area. That's where I'll be staying on Saturday night before I make the rest of the trip to the OBX on Sunday.
