Put a restrictor at the service entrance.
Or an adjustable regulator with gauge.
Put a restrictor at the service entrance.
I have thought about that, and thought about it, and thought about it. Kind of a snowball effect. Long story short, It ends with me buying a new house LOL One thing I have figured out though, none of this in this thread would have happened if the house had been built correctly and failing that been repaired effectively and not band-aided together like it was to make up for the error. Specifically the meter base that was installed in the back wall was wrong. That lead to moving electrical service and plumbing in the house and required a utility pole, all of which was done poorly and I am having to deal with now.Put a restrictor at the service entrance.
Glad to know you got this resolved. The job is done and turned out really well. I was amazed how easy he got the new pole into the ground. Very little digging involved. So he didn't tear up a lot of ground to do this. No boom truck or heavy equipment, just 8 hours of hard work and expertise.
That stinks! Be careful, hope all goes well!Well I finally got some light on the matter and was as I suspected. The worst possible place and it's been leaking all over the electrical connections that join the two halves of the house. So I need to shut off the power and climb into a very tight mud hole and work by flashlight on drippy wet pipes and underbelly insulation. I need to change the copper flex connectors that join the hot and cold water in the two halves of the house. First time I saw those connections was last year when looking for another plumbing issue. Then I was "WTF! what moron did this? Now I get to fix it right I guess. And I thought all I had to do today was put in a sprinkler control. LOL
