USPS 2-Day Priority Mail isn't

2-day Priority Mail must not mean delivery in two or three days but delivery 'no sooner than'! With one exception every 2-day priority mail package in the last 6 months has taken between 5 days and two weeks. The closer the shipment point is to my home the longer it takes. The worst part about the below is that we were home at the time specified in the note and when we retrieved the mail there wasn't any notice in the box.

SmartPost is no better. A package going from Maryland to Pennsylvania went via California. They must have trucked it all the way to California (stops in Pennsylvania (yes PA), Indiana, OK, NM, and then California. From California it was flown to Allentown PA and then handed to the USPS. I'm thankful the post office only took two days to get it here from Allentown.

Regular USPS is really bad right now also. I have a package that's a week overdue and another one that was suppose to have been delivered yesterday but wasn't. I'm waiting for 2 other packages also. I hope all my packages arrive in time for Xmas.
