Using the 129 in northest Pa

I doubt you'll get any signal. I'm in Williamsport, PA and I argued with the installer because I didn't want 2 dishes. He then explained why I need the extra one (for 61.5.)

Also, somewhere there is a picture of a map (I wish could find it again) that showed the entire USA, and then had parts shaded, and if your area was shaded, it meant that you could not use a Dish 1000. If I recall, most of PA was shaded that color, and that is why I couldn't get the 129.

The E* Tech told me when he did the install,That he could do it,but its not recommended, But I knew that. I thought if I could get a signal in the 30's I'd be fine with that But mostly low 20's and and teens.
