using linear lnb and getting 85%?

I have been outside all day trying to get signals. I hooked up my linear ku to my 44inch dish and hooked it up to my 3100 reciever. ( i know I cant watch anything with this setup). just using the reciever for power to my sat finder. I ended up getting a good signal on transponder 7 ( 80% ) just a little west of nimiq 1. I then hooked the cable to my dvb card in my cpu but I cant figure out what sat I am pointed to. I keep trying the sats with linear ku feeds. and am using lo 9750 sw11700 . I should be able to get t5 with this set up right?

You will never get anything out from your setting. None of the number will match any.
You will need to enter the frequency 5 digi numbers on ku band and S.R numbers, 4 or 5 digi numbers. And polarity. For the satellite information, go check at www lyngsat.com

I got it thanks. I used a different lo and sw setting and bang it worked . I was using settings that were given on another sight. I used 10750 lo and 12700 for sw.
