Using Dish Network HD Dish for Ku-Band Reception

Even though I have a 32" Ku-Band dish, my neighbor gave me an old HD Dish Network dish about a month ago. I was curious if this would work with Ku-Band if I replaced the LNBFs with one singular Ku-Band LNBF? Here's what the dish looks like (it looks similar to this):

The bud guy I had one of those dishes up it worked alright but bigger is better will work on strong stuff but not anything weak signal. here are some pics for you dish is upside down and working at that time.

A real easy way to mount your LNB to that dish is just remove the existing LNB and cut a small board that you can slide inside the end of the LNB arm, then use one of those universal LNB brackets, screwed to the board. You'll have to play around with it a bit to find the best spot for it. A PLL LNB will give you a bit better signal/Quality, too, on the smaller dishes, you need all you can get!
