I have a question, i am a dish subscriber. i have 3 receivers. right now i have a superdish for locals on the amc-2 at 105 and a dp44 switch. I would like to put the extra receiver out back in my garage where i restore muscle cars. I have a directv single lnb dish pointed at Echo 119. I realize that i theoretically should only be able to receive the programming on 119 but not my locals. Will this configuration work for 119. I have the same landline phone number in the garage to connect the receiver. Will i be able to receive the programming from the 119 sat except for locals.
I am not going to try a sat coax from my dp44 because it is approx 500 feet from my house. I figure there would not be much signal left even with amps, plus the cost of the cable.
