Using an eSATA External drive w/ DCT6416 series 3

Hello, I've searched around and couldn't find an answer to my question. Maybe someone here can answer it.

What eSATA drives are compatible with the DCT6416. Somwhere in the 300GB to 500GB range would be fine.

I called Cox about using an eSATA drive. I got an Official Un-Official answer of it will work, but we won't admit to it working type of answer. And he suggest looking at Motorola's website for compatible drives, but I didn't have any luck when searching their website.

I got the same response from a guy at Cox. He said yes, it will work, but no, they don't officially recommend it because of piracy concerns because you can transfer the files to a computer and make copies.

I've searched around too. The limited storage is the only thing holding me back from going with Cox.
