I'm about to make a computer upgrade and that will include the monitor. The computer will be in a room adjacent to the 622 and I can drill a hole in the floor to route a component cable. Right now, my 622 is connected to my TV via HDMI, leaving the component output open on TV1.

I should be able to connect this component output to my computer via a video capture card, right? I mainly just want to be able to watch my Dish shows on my computer monitor in the other room (maybe use computer as secondary PVR but not necessary).

if you dont need to use the computer as a dvr or whatever... I would just see if you can find a monitor in your price range that has the inputs on it... much easier, and you dont have to have the computer on to watch it. O, and if it has PIP that would be even better. tv on one side, computer on the other
