use dish sl3s4nr2-14 as a normal antenna

i was wondering if i can take a dish. sl3s4nr2-14 as a reg. tv dish type antenna.. of the unit is faulty put a hd tv rabbit ears in its place.. thought i would share this.. smiles..

No, a DBS (small) satellite dish can't be used as a tv antenna. Now a 10 foot C-band antenna, with the lnb replaced by a bowtie type antenna, THAT would work excellent as a tv antenna.
