Has anyone heard if Dish Network has released a fully tested and certified USB "wireless connector" as shown on this webpage? Anyone in here in the "engineering department" at Dish Network who knows about these types of things?

What You Need - DISH Network

I read on DBStalk.com that a USB wireless connector was SUPPOSED TO become available for purchase on 9-29-10 (yesterday).

I want to use the "with a Wireless Connector" method as shown on this webpage:

http://www.dishnetwork.com/support/connect-broadband/default.aspx#wireless

I just don't want to buy a USB wireless connector that hasn't been thoroughly tested by Dish Network. I'm sick and tired of having to deal with technical glitches with my Dish Network equipment.

I was just talking to DISH tech support. Still no date for DISH Wireless connector. Also, no price set. Hoping it is free.....should have been built into the box. Installer actually gave me Sling Link and never got it work. It needs to be on the same circuit to work. Not going to happen with my home office on second floor and other side of the house and my DISH receiver is on 1st floor family room.

To make a long story short as possible the Netgear N600 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter WNDA3100 version 2 works on my 722k's. The box does not indicate what version you may have. I did notice a gray button on top of the adapter pictured on the box. (the older version does not show this button on the box) The thumbnail picture does show v2 on the side of the adapter. As soon as I plugged the adapter into the back of the receiver it immediately recognized it. I was able to easily configure it to my router with the on screen menus. I posted my findings in the PUB Forums back on Oct.8

An electrician can fix that. A common neutral is required and both the slinglink and receiver on the same breaker panel.

FCC needs to get involved now

How far out does the guide go?
