Uprgrading system question

Probably a dumb question, but here goes; I upgraded my system to get a HDdvr reciever since i just got a HD TV. I currently have a 3 LNB dish. I read somewhere for HD you need a 3 or 5 LNB dish. The 5 LNB is included with my installalation so...Should I tell the installer to go ahead and throw the 5 up, or will I be ok with the 3. Again, sorry if its a window licker question.

You will need the 5LNB dish to receive the new HD programming that D* is going to light off in mid-September, so keep it on the work order.
