The Broadlogic Spectrum Analyzer shows no signals on the horizontal side at 148 degrees West at this time. This seems premature for the move to 77 degrees West. Echostar's FCC request for the move didn't start until September 5, 2008. I don't believe this request has been approved yet by the FCC.

Hmmm...users were reporting issues with some locals on 148 last night. I wonder if something died. That's going to put a kink into some plans. Of course this is all speculation. They could possibly be testing to see if Echo1 can do the job by itself but there are other pieces that do not add up.

The FCC would not be happy if E5 were to run out of fuel and not be able to make it to a parking orbit.
