Where are the Memphis Locals in HD?

Wasn't today supposed to be the day? Is there some kind of delay? Does anyone know? Memphis HD locals were promised such a long time ago.

are these new HDALT channels just an add on to the previous 3 HDALT so there are more HDALT feeds? or are they added for a specefic sporting event that is coming up?

Quick Question....

Are the EPG data separate from the up-link data (e.g. available vs un-available) ? IOW How can a preview channel show up in the All Channels EPG as available in the future, allowing timers to be set etc., before the up-link making it available for Preview?

FWIW that is how the Starz preview channels for this weekend (350, 351, & 356) appeared in my EPG last night .

Legal or not, the problem is that no one knows. Dish is already using the digital feeds in Memphis for the SD locals. The HD channels have been uplinked for around 2 months now. Something doesn't sound right here. Why would they have announced a turn-on date if the ink wasn't dry on all the paperwork?

I have a new channel on my guide today......Channel 75: New: HD channels available in your area. However, when I tune to the channel it says it is not available.

What is this channel for? To my knowledge HD locals are not available OTA (except for Fox and PBS) let alone on dish.

This is just an observation, so take it for what it's worth.

Before team summit, the "boss" was a real chatterbox, with rumors and speculation galore.
After team summit, the "boss" has been strangely silent.

I wonder if Charlie threatened to sue him for the next 100 yearsif he didn't pipe down.

Dish is already using the digital feeds in Memphis for the SD locals.

That means nothing, since Dish is converting all SD locals to digital feeds.

Plenty of markets that won't have HD locals on satellite for 3 years, nevertheless no have their SD locals from digital feeds.

This is because in February, all the analog feeds will be gone !

Correct...since they are not available in your area you can not view that channel.

if it says not available., this is another dish screw up, it says one thing on the guide/info and the exact opposite on the channel. Classic dish.
Call dish and tell them you want your local hd channels as your guide says they are now available in your area and see what they say

You could sue them on Peoples Court. Do they still make that show? I don't think the Dish lawyers could even win in small claims court at this point.
