I had on that baby channel last night for a few minutes, and I did almost fall asleep...and i'm 26, so that sh*t is worth every penny to someone with a kid...

This was like PBS on valium...

And it makes sense to put OLN in preview now, because you'll give everyone the first week and a half of the Tour De France, and then they'll have to upgrade to see the end of it. Obviously this doesn't effect the majority of you, but it does to those who want OLN in a lower package. They'll get a taste and then charlie will take it away...

When is the preview of the Adult Showcase??

But the DVD is what, 3 hours of content you'll watch over and over...

I would imagine the baby network will have a rotation of programs much like any other channel would, making it worth more than a DVD.

Seriously, watch it for 5 minutes and tell me your brain doesn't damn near stop working...

But with it being a baby channel, I doubt a baby would care about the same content over and over again.
My 3 yr. old son will watch the same LarryBoy DVD over and over for hours, so I don't see the problem.

$10/mo for a kiddee channel just seems overpriced.

Kids learn with repitition. So the same dvd over and over again isnt a bad thing.......

True to an extent. Think about it like this, wouldn't it drive YOU nuts to watch or overhear the SAME DVD all the time? Unless you're leaving your babies un-attended, you can see how this is an issue. It may be as much for the baby as it is for the parents' sanity as well.
