I have been away from the forum for a while and now that I hear I'll be able to see my RSN (Chicago) in HD relatively soon if I have the new equipment.

Well I don't have the new equipment yet, so what is the best way to get it? I have the H10 and triple LNB deal now. I wanted to ask hear first since you all know more than the CSR's.

What should this cost me, and is that amount the same as they'll tell me it costs?

Any direction (other than, dude just call them) would be appreicated.

Thanks!

Dude, just ..... :)

Seriously, call them. You should be able to get the dish and receiver for next to nothing, or maybe nothing! You might have to pay a nominal shipping charge. I got the dish for free, but had to play csr roulette to get it. It only took two calls. I got the H20 free after purchase, but now they are leases, so that should be free, also. It will cost you a two year commitment. Good luck.

What raoul5788 said, if your account is in good standing, AND your HD locals are in a market that requires mpeg4, you have a great chance to get the upgrade free, well, except the 2 yr commitment, as stated above, and maybe shipping (if applicable).

If your account is not in good standing, and/or your locals do not yet require the mpeg4 receivers and AT9 Dish, you may have to wheel and deal.

And, as always, play CSR roulette if need be.
