Upgrading to HD

I'm upgrading to Dish next week.

1) I need an OTA to get locals in HD. I don't get that great of a signal with my regular antenna. Is an OTA antenna different? Will I get a better picture? What are the distance limitations from the tower?

2) Does the receiver come with an HDMI cable?

I would go to the AVS Forum for answers to your OTA questions. There are threads for just about every area of the country. AntennaWeb can assist you in selecting an antenna.

Your installer may provide a HDMI cable but you can get one cheap at monoprice.com.
