Upgrading from Hopper 1 to Hopper 3

We currently have 2 of the original Hoppers and 3 Joeys. Will this install be as easy and unplugging the old equipment and plugging in the new? Will there be any need to run additional coax or anything? Change out the LNB or switch? Just wondering.

They will need to change out the LNB for the new hybrid LNB and replace the hub with a new hybrid node.

and if the Joeys are 1s, they will replace them too.

If you have programs you wish to save, move them to an external drive BEFORE the scheduled install date, so all you have to do is plug the EHD into the H3 (after the prefunctory 2-3 day settling down/software up date period) and it should be fine.
