I want to upgrade my Directv dish to the 3 LNB model in another location. When I bought my 3 LNB here in PHX, i got it with new service, so it ended up being free with activation.
The location I want the new dish for (and HD programming) is for an account that already has Directv (have had it for well over a few years).
I see BB and CC have these deals for like $60 for the 3 lnb dish, but that requires new activation doesnt it? I want to buy it locally and not order it online. I live close to ABT electronics in north suburbs of Chicago, think they will have anything?
Why should i have to pay extra for a new dish when i want to end up adding another $11 worth of programming a month (HD service).
Can I get the HD reciever (Hughes) as well as the 3 lnb dish for a resonable price if i am already a customer and want to upgrade the equipment on my account?
Should i just cancel my service and start new service so i can get a deal on my equipment?
