Upgraded to a 522

Yup,

Upgraded to a 522 on Saturday. By Sunday night I was on the phone with Dish telling them to send me another one to replace it. In less than 24 hours I got a combination of picture freeze ups, Hard Disk Diagnostic screen pop ups and rebooting itself then going into a Check Switch test. Very little time left to actually watch a program :rolleyes: When I did get some working time with it, I could see that the 522 is a very nice unit. I can't wait to get one that works. The 522 they installed was a reconditioned unit. Maybe they'll send me a new one (not that it would make a difference). The new/reconditioned 522 is coming by Wednesday. We'll see how it goes.
 
I can certainly sympathize with you.

I got mine on Saturday and I'm having a lot of audio drop outs on RECORDED events. This is very un-nerving. :-(

Received replacement 522. Everything works great. I guess it is hit or miss with these boxes.
