upgrade to hopper question...

Has anyone gone from a 722 to a hopper and been able to just get it shipped to install yourself? i thought i had read they would do that,but was just told it must be installed by tech.

Nope, never heard that if you are leasing only if you buy the H/J.

Not possible, Hoppers require DishPro LNBs and a node to feed the three tuners over one coax. All required upgrades are included with the install. If you purchase one and a node and have a DPP LNB, you can install it yourself.
