Upgrade to HD

I am about to upgrade to HD. I currently have 4 SD receivers (2 of which are DVR and 2 are not).

I plan on upgrading two of my receivers to HD and keeping two SD receivers for the time being.

I plan on installing a SWM8 myself after D* installs the new dish and receivers because I have some CCTV security camera feeds that I need to bring into the mix as well as an OTA antenna.

My question is how will the installer wire the 2 HD and 2 SD receivers to the new HD dish? Will this be done through a multi-switch? I'm trying to figure out what to expect from the installation so I can plan my SWM8 installation.

If you are keeping the SD receivers, then the dish will have to be a Slimline with the 4 output LNB. Then the SWM8 will be connected to those 4 outputs. The outputs of the SWM8 will then connect to your HD receivers. The legacy ports on the SWM8 will connect to your SD receivers. If you add another HD receiver, then you'll need a splitter on one of the SWM8 outputs.
