Good morning all...

So we are upgrading from SD to HD next week and I have a few questions.
first off, I have two dishs on my roof. An old Dish Network 7 years old? That I actually purchased way back when so its mine (Why its still there) which hasn't been activated for 5 or so years.
I also have a DirectTV dish that was installed roughly 5 years ago.
We will have an HDDVR in the living room, and a SD in master room.
Will Directtv be able to use current cables since if I've read correctly, they use ONE line in for DVRS now? Either way, I have 2 that are running in to the SDDVR so I was hoping to make the installers job that much quicker/easier he could use current cables, if not no biggie.

Also, we have a small window for LOS due to living in the "Sticks" if you will, I've read that the new sats are in the "General" area as the one we use now which is 103??
So, should I need to worry about those trees if my current setup works fine? Or is the difference in location in the sky going to kill this?
Also, I seen 20 different answers when people ask can Directtv do roof locations on new installs, some say yes, some say now.
Does a new install mean New customer? Or upgrading from sd to HD.
If they can't do roof install next week, I bet my a$$ I won't be able to get LOS for a ground mount (Tress)
Thanks for any info!

They should be able to use the existing cables. As far as LOS you will need 103, but that sat shouldn't be a real problem for you to get.
