VOOM updated their channel mapping for my area, the net effect actually killed a channel I was previously getting.
The channel in question... WMHT-DT (rf34). The OTA PSIP data maps a 17-1 (SD) and a 17-3 (HD). Up until today, VOOM's data mapped a 17-1 and inapropriately mapped 17-2 (with the info and signal for 17-3).
Today, it seems VOOM attempted to correct the mis-map, as 17-2 is gone and 17-3 has correct program info. HOWEVER, 17-3 will not tune-in. 17-1 will just fine. Performing a new channel scan found 17-3, but still cannot tune-in. Power Cycle, Soft Reboot, Hard Reboot. Still cannot get 17-3.
I know that the mapping for this DMA was updated because data for 13-2 showed up and a new listing for a (forthcoming) 10-1 also showed up.
Bottom Line... I can't get the channel (17-3) I could yesterday. It's definately not an antenna or transmit problem. I'm getting 17-1 just fine on the same rf.
