So they are skipping this week? I was hoping Thursday would be EP, TX launch.

Dang, DMA 156 got left off again.

One thing to remember is that it isn't just the DMA that determines when DirecTV offers locals. The number of DirecTV subscribers in that DMA is also factored in. If your DMA gets skipped, it may be because there are fewer DirecTV subs. Oh yeah, the TV stations might not be cooperating either.

Why don't I have any OTA digital subchannels?

The CW affiliate in my market isn't in HD yet. Can I get one of the national (flagship) CW affiliates in HD?

New HD locals launching this Wed 11/19

Directv will be adding 6 new HD local markets this Wed. 11/19. They will be:

1. El Paso, TX
2. Rockford, IL
3. Fort Wayne, IN
4. La Crosse, WI
5. Peoria, IL
6. Des Moines, IA

Note: This is an early estimate, please keep posted for more updates. If there is problems it may be Thursday 11/20.

When exactly are PBS and CW supposed to launch in HD?

Some markets already have PBS HD and CW HD although a greater number of markets have the CW than those that have PBS.

30 markets have their CW HD and just 4 have PBS HD.

we've had the cw and mntv (in hd) since january in the orlando/daytona area.

Our CW affiliate (WBSF) isn't even in HD yet, and our MNT affiliate (WNEM-DT2) is a digital subchannel of the CBS affiliate (WNEM-TV). Am I allowed to get the flagship feeds from NYC or L.A.?

Mine is on there...to bad I am with Dish and will be another 20-30 years...well maybe not that long, but I would doubt that they will add before first quarter of next year at the earliest.

No eta on PBS. Speculation is it will be 28, not 19.

Directv doesn't do OTA sub at all.

Can't get any other CW. 46 is going digital (and hopefully HD) exactly at the transition date 2/17/09, but no word if D* will carry it in HD.
