Update on DC HD channels

DTV just called and said I was receiving both 99c and 99s signal and it was confusing my receiver.

make sense?

It only makes sense to a CSR that has their head up their a**. 99(c) is the DirecTV11 satellite that is used to provide some of the national HD channels. 99(s) is the Spaceway2 satellite which is used to provide local HD (and some SD) channels. They are both valid satellites and your receiver should be seeing both them and 103(c) and 103(s) along with 101, 110 and 119.

Maybe it would help if you said what your problem was so you might get some real help.

OK Rad, Local channels 4 5 7 9 and 20 went to a

complete white screen, no picture ! Did a reboot ( red button ) and it did not fix the problem. This was on both my receivers.

About 45 mins later they just came back on.

So my guess is DTV did something after my call to the tech support kid
