Uniden Ust 7000

Ok, I'm going to try this again. Unlike the schmuck (ON EBAY!) who sold me the UST 4900, this seller actually has a remote for this one. It's a Uniden UST 7000.

Any comments, reviews, experience with this receiver?? I'm thinkin of buying.

well i don't know alot about unidens , this looks to either be an older moder or the basic model ( seperate power supply) there are other models that in their hayday were THE receiver hence 4400 Super ,4800, supra & ultra being popular models. my old gi 2410 is the same (has seperate power supply) it has been a work horse. no problems whatsoever, no the only thing that i can thing of... and it was the reason i upgraded when watching c-band was a Timer. Now i don't know how much you would need to move the dish but the timer allow you to program
certain sat and different times and the dish would move itself at those times. if you are just using the receiver to move the dish while you are there and you don't need a timer then you should be ok

It's a analog receiver much like the Uniden 9000. I have 3 Uniden 9000's. Yours does c and Ku. Ku channels are in reverse of what you see listed in places. Tr 24 on lyngsat is really Tr 1 on the receiver. I believe it does stereo audio, but not sure. If you see 2 audio frequencies on the front then it is in stereo. Older models of the receiver can be up to 20 years old.
