....or not.

For those in the Sacramento area know, I've been working with engineering for a while now trying to isolate a problem with the 622 and one of our OTA locals. I've sent them three 622's (different story... maybe not). The first got rerouted, the second's hard drive got reformatted after they reproduced the problem but before they could copy the video stream for further analysis.

Anyways, I sent them a third last month. I logged onto the website yesterday morning to find a 599 charge for an unreturned receiver. I call up Customer Service. I explain what was going on, give him the tracking number for the receiver saying it was received. I also have two confirmation messages from the Software program manager and the hardware manager that they received it. The guy says he has no authorization to reverse the charge but sees a receiver was returned on March 22nd.

SSSSOOOOOO... I send an e-mail to ceo.... No response... Send another one this morning.... still no response.

Sorry, I usually don't vent around here but had to. Time for the next level.

Wow, that is bad. I suggest dealing directly with the person that you sent the receiver back to.

I did drop them a line. Unfortunately, neither of them work on the weekend. I'm sure they will straighten it out, but you would think that CS would be able to reverse a charge when they can verify the UPS tracking number. And CEO not responding?

I hope you get your problem solved soon! As for the local channel you are talking about, since I recieved 4.03 update that channel has been perfect. :D

Well, I checked my account this morning and the charge was reversed. No-one ever contacted me though.

Glad it is fixed. My guess is it would have been reversed anyway and that part of the transaction just hadn't gone through yet. Either way, glad it is solved.
