Has anyone experienced this? When I select one of my external hard drives and go to manage recordings, it shows no events to display. The drive has recordings on it and I can watch them. I would like to move some of them back to the Hopper. I did this with recordings about 2 - 3 weeks ago and it worked fine. Now it shows no events on any of the 3 hard drives that are connected to the Hopper 3. Thanks for any suggestions if you have them.

I saw that a couple of times. As usual, EHD bugs. I got them back by accessing one of my other EHDs and then going back to the one that failed. I haven't tried going back to the Hopper main DVR display but my guess is that it won't work as I think you need to change the pointer to the bug EHD to another. That failing a Tools->Reset Hopper is the way to go

Tried that for grins. No change. No grins.

I have reset the hopper multiple times, unplugged it and it has no effect. All the EHD's are still showing no files to manage when you try to manage them.

Sadly, not new. Started for me months ago.

I lost a few EHDs worth of recordings and contacted Dish. I knew the recordings were there, but the Hopper no longer saw them. For a while, I was helped. Then, Casper.

I might try to copy (via Linux) those EHD recordings over to new larger HDDs. But I'm not sure it's worth the effort, given no guarantee of success. And then there's the SWMBO list, keeping me busy. I still haven't even started my seedlings.

And now, we have the added event of seeing and playing titles on EHDs but not transferring them back to the internal drive.

It seems that there is an EHD disease spreading, and I have no hope for a cure. Doesn't seem to be a priority for Dish. Maybe they are letting things deteriorate gradually down to the end.

It looks more and more like later this year I will put a little smile on Bruce's lips! :D

Is there any site listing the major streaming players, their channels, their DVR rules, etc? I know, moving target.

Your best option would be DirecTV Stream myEntertainment package, only $35 a month includes all those Discovery owned channels you watch, along with A&E, Lifetime, News Channels and a bunch of others, along with the unlimited DVR.

It also includes the with commercials plan of MAX, Disney+ and Hulu.

Your Roku Ultra would work great, so no box charge.

You get a free 5 days to try it out, can sign up and cancel online.
