Unable to download since 0x77b

I have a HR44/500 with 0x77b Sat 8/17 9:36p and I have been unsuccessful in downloading anything since that time. I just tried numerous times but the system just boots up like I am not hitting anything. I am using the 0 2 4 6 8 code when the lights turn back on, I have entered IAMANEDGECUTTER in the search. Does anybody have an idea what I may be doing wrong. Thanks, Chris

Is your timing off? I have found the secret is to do an RBR (Red Button Reset) and then as soon as (and no earlier) you see the blue light come on for the resolutions on the front of the box, begin hitting the 0 2 4 6 8 series. You just have to do it normal speed, and do not need to rush through it. I have found that timing is crucial, and if you begin when you see the resolution light pop on, it will work every time.

Thanks, after a dozen times it finally worked, I think I was also holding each number down to long. With your advice and normal button pushing it worked. Thanks again.
